About Me

Hi! My name is Bridget and I am a newbie to the field of Information Technology! I am currently pursuing a second bachelor's degree in the field and hope to use this blog to share my growth. I currently hold a bachelor’s degree in History and Secondary Education and I am a former teacher. 

I really enjoy learning and challenging myself to try new things! When teaching, I taught in a virtual environment for much of my career. My first professional job was teaching English as a Second Language to Korean students in an online environment and my longest teaching job was for an online high school where I served as both a teacher and an administrator. I love the opportunities that technology can provide and am very interested in learning the mechanics of building these platforms that I have been able to use. I am still unsure about what my exact career aspirations are in the IT field. However, I’m hoping that as I learn more throughout the course of my degree program, I can determine what career path fits me best. I have enjoyed learning about coding and can't wait to learn more about website design.
